The Reading Elementary School students baked goodies and made salsa for the Local Flood Relief Fund Bake Sale held on Saturday, Sept. 24, raising $503. RES is grateful to the children of RES, parents who donated items, teachers who donated their students and their time, Gail Cross for letting them bake around her, RES Principal Dr. Lafasciano and all the businesses that donated ingredients; Black River Produce, Shaw's, Price Chopper, BJ's, and the Lebanon Food Coop. They also extend a ] special thank you to Norm at the Weathersfield Transfer Station and Town Manager of Weathersfield Jim Mullen.
